Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
We strive to build diverse and inclusive library collections, but what happens when censors try to ban those materials? Panelists share strategies and resources to defend students’ right to read. Participants will learn to prepare a Challenge Emergency Kit composed of resources that can be customized for any book, school, or grade.

Panel Includes: Hilda Weisburg (Author/Speaker/Professor/ Presenter, School Librarian's Workshop), Kristin Pekoll (Assistant Director for ALA's Office of Intellectual Freedom), and Martha Hickson (North Hunterdon High School)
